Lyft IPO, Nasdaq Remote Opening Bell

In the spring of 2019, Centerstage continued a cadence of rapid-fire global IPO’s on behalf of long-time client Nasdaq. As the valued supplier for Nasdaq remote opening and closing bells, Centerstage travels internationally to connect emerging technologies and established corporations with Wall Street and world viewers. Over 150 VIP attendees, including Lyft and Nasdaq executives, North American media, drivers, and Lyft design staff welcomed the early morning sunrise for the 6:30AM Pacific opening bell. Centerstage provided the production, broadcast technologies, and uplink support in order to transform a vintage Los Angeles warehouse into a live broadcast remote from Lyft’s first “Lyft Hub” – a one-stop shop for driver support. Understanding the extreme importance of a fail-safe launch, every technical item was fully redundant, including twin satellite uplinks, generators, and all production systems.

Centerstage has produced live remote broadcasts for Nasdaq on three continents.

What’s the opening price of an IPO? Flawless Execution.

Centerstage continues to work with Nasdaq in order to develop more efficient and value-driven broadcast technologies.

Immediately following the live opening bell event, Lyft executives spoke on a satellite media tour including CNBC’s Squak Box and Bloomberg News.
